🏭 K9 Production Begins: A Major Milestone for Tofaş 🇹🇷An important milestone for TOFAS and Stellantis took place in Bursa, Türkiye this week: the start of production for the K9 project. In the presence of Türkiye’s Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih KACIR, Koç Holding Honorary Chairman Rahmi M. Koç; Koç Holding Chairman Ömer Koç; Koç Holding Vice Chairman Ali Y. Koç, Tofaş CEO Cengiz Eroldu and Stellantis Middle East & Africa COO Samir Cherfan alongside other employees and partners, a distinguished event marked the occasion. The first FIAT Doblò has rolled off the line, marking its return to Bursa and building on a strong legacy in Türkiye. The K9 project will bring five models across four brands to production: Fiat Doblò, Citroën Berlingo, Opel Combo, and Peugeot Rifter and Partner, with an annual capacity of 100,000 vehicles. This investment further strengthens Tofaş as a strategic manufacturing and engineering hub, supports local suppliers, and reinforces our commitment to producing in the region, for the region. Built on a multi-energy platform ready to accommodate future electric light commercial vehicles, the project also creates flexibility for the road ahead.We continue to make strong progress towards our FaSTLAne 2030 ambitions, powered by our partnership with Koç Holding and the dedication of the teams who have brought this program to life.
