You put on the warm one and you look like a duvet. You put on the good one and you're cold by the second block. How It Started Fifteen years ago there were two of us. Mark packed the orders. Sarah picked the pieces, one at a time, by hand. We stayed small on purpose. Nothing goes on the site until one of us has had it in our hands. What Fifteen Years Taught Us Our customers taught us more than any supplier did. They taught us that a winter coat gets judged indoors, not outdoors. That you have to sit in it, in a car, with a seatbelt across it. That the sleeve is the thing that ruins it — too narrow over a sweater and the coat becomes a coat you wear over a blouse and nothing else. That you put it on and take it off eleven times a day and every one of those eleven times counts. So we stopped asking how warm it was and started asking what it's like over a cardigan at ten past eight in the morning. Why We're Celebrating Fifteen years is a long time for a shop this small. We're still here because Canadian women kept coming back, and told their sisters and their friends. That's the whole reason there's a business to celebrate. This sale is the thank you.
