“It was incredibly easy to get good results quickly.” — Ron Brecher⁠ ⁠ Ron Brecher (@astrodoc.ca) has been putting the Celestron Origin Mark II through its paces, capturing everything from galaxies and nebulae to a colorful open star cluster.⁠ ⁠ His first two nights included the Iris Nebula, Cocoon Nebula, NGC 891, M33, Ring Nebula, Pacman Nebula, and Owl Cluster—all using the basic Alt-Az setup with 10-second exposures and no guiding.⁠ ⁠ For these images, Ron let Origin handle the calibration and stacking but turned off its processing options.
