🇺🇸 New York: The Authentic American College Experience After more than 40 years in international education, I have learnt that choosing the right campus can make all the difference to a student’s experience abroad. And some colleges truly stand out. Ramapo College of New Jersey, our New York summer destination, is certainly one of them. Having worked with Ramapo for well over a decade, I can confidently say that it offers something special: the atmosphere of a genuine American college, combined with the comfort, facilities and educational standards we want every MLA student to enjoy. 🎓 A real American campus Beautiful green surroundings, excellent sports facilities, modern academic buildings and everything you would expect from an authentic American college experience. 🏡 Comfort that makes a difference Unlike the relatively basic accommodation often associated with American campuses, our students enjoy apartment-style accommodation with private bathroom facilities within their apartments. 🍽️ All-you-can-eat dining American-style campus dining, offering a wide selection of meals in an all-you-can-eat format. 🗽 Manhattan by private coach Student safety and comfort are among our priorities. Rather than relying on public transport, we organise private coach transfers for our Manhattan excursions, allowing students to travel together, comfortably and under supervision. Manhattan is approximately 30 minutes away, depending on traffic. 📚 Education at the heart of the experience Our English programme follows MLA’s Task-Based Learning methodology, combining language development with practical communication and real-world experiences. An extensive programme of excursions and activities completes the experience. 🤝 A partnership built on trust During the summer, I had the pleasure of meeting President Cindy Jebb. Our longstanding relationship with Ramapo College reflects something I strongly believe in: successful partnerships are built on trust, continuity and a shared commitment to excellence. These relationships are fundamental to delivering consistently high standards year after year. 🎥 Today, I am delighted to share this video showcasing our New York campus. I hope it gives you a real sense of why Ramapo College remains one of our most valued summer destinations. 🇨🇦 Coming next: Toronto! In just a few days, we will share another video featuring our Canadian summer programme. #MLAWorld #RamapoCollege #NewYork #StudyTravel #InternationalEducation #YoungLearners #SummerSchools
