I strongly believe the Account Executive role is about to change dramatically. In 2027, successful sales orgs will see their AEs will become a šš§š šš²š®š± for the account. Not doing everything personally, but orchestrating everything end to end:   ⢠Account planning.   ⢠Qualification.   ⢠Forecasting.   ⢠Sales excellence.   ⢠Campaigns, inbound & outbound.   ⢠Bespoke content.   ⢠Stakeholder engagement.   ⢠Contracting.   ⢠Legal Reviews.   ⢠Closing. And increasingly, the AE won't execute all of this manually. AI agents and platforms such as Gong, Outreach, Seismic and Docusign IAM will take over more of the research, preparation, administration, content creation and workflow execution. That changes the job. The AE moves from "executing a sales process" to "orchestrating a GTM system around the customer". šš¤š§š š©šššš£š¤š”š¤šš®, ššŖš© šš”šØš¤ š¢š¤š§š ššŖššš¢šš£š©. šš¤š§š ššŖš©š¤š¢šš©šš¤š£, ššŖš© šš”šØš¤ š¢š¤š§š šššš¤šŖš£š©šššš”šš©š®. šš¤š§š š¼š, ššŖš© šš”šØš¤ š š¢šŖšš šš§š¤šššš§ šš¤š¢š¢šš§šššš” š§š¤š”š. š¼š š¢šš® š£š¤š© šš”šš¢šš£šš©š š©šš š¼ššš¤šŖš£š© šššššŖš©šš«š. It may eliminate the traditional boundaries of the Account Executive role. cc Moe Saleh #Sales #AI #GTM #SalesLeadership
