This October, we recognize the 35th anniversary of the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial’s dedication. Dedicated on October 15, 1991, the Memorial created a permanent place to honor officers who made the ultimate sacrifice and ensure their names and stories are never forgotten. A gift in honor of the Memorial’s dedication helps NLEOMF ensure every officer who dies in the line of duty is remembered and honored. It also allows us to learn from the circumstances that claim officers’ lives, turning remembrance into action that helps make it safer for those who serve today.
