What happens to a waterfront address when the island runs out of coastline? That’s the question I’d be asking about Saadiyat Island right now. The Louvre is built. The Guggenheim opens this year. NYU is running. Cranleigh is full. The beach was just ranked 19th in the world , up from 39th last year. Everything that makes an address valuable is already there. And Marsa Al Saadiyat is the last coastal land Aldar will release on it. 8km of waterfront. The largest marina in Abu Dhabi. Frank Gehry’s final building. An Etihad Rail station. Villas lifted so the sea view can never be built out. Most waterfront launches ask you to believe a render. This one doesn’t. I’ve walked that site. I know which plots face open water and which don’t , on this project, that’s the difference between a good buy and an expensive one. The first release is coming soon.
