Three years in the hall closet.

My embroidery machine spent three years on the top shelf of the hall closet, still in the box it came in, and every time I opened that door to get the vacuum out I felt a little guilty about it. I had used it maybe five times. The first designs I downloaded were free ones, and they puckered so badly on a plain cotton towel that I decided I just was not cut out for this, so the box went back up on the shelf and a winter coat ended up on top of it. This August my daughter-in-law asked if I could stitch a few towels for her little shop, and instead of hunting for free files again I bought one library of designs that had all been tested on a home machine before they were sold. The first towel came out flat and clean, the second one too, and by the end of the month there was a stack of finished orders sitting on the exact spot where that box used to be. It was never the machine, and it was never me. It was the files. The library is The Embroidery Vault: 3,000+ designs across 12 categories, in every format home machines read (PES, DST, JEF, EXP, HUS, VP3), with a commercial license so you can sell what you make. It is listed at $397 and right now it is $19.99, one time, with lifetime access, until they reach 500 members. The link is below, in case yours is sitting in a closet too.
